Individual members of The Piano Rebuilders are available at their hourly rate to advise, explain, research, appraise, or otherwise consult.
Inspection of your instrument may be vital to such a consultation. We will be happy to provide that inspection for a reasonable fee or to work with information provided by your technician or to help find a technician to do the inspecting and then participate in the consultation. Any estimates, appraisals, or recommendations based on such second-hand information might have to be amended to match the actual condition of the piano, if there is a discrepancy. We will always do our best to come by and work with accurate information.
Where we cannot personally be of help, we would be happy to point you in the direction of somebody or some organization that we think can. Those referrals that are found to be helpful, we will make available for others, so please give us feedback on how our recommendations work out.
